August 4th, 2017
Dear Parents,
We hope that you are having a restful and relaxing summer so far. We want to welcome new families who are joining our Bradley Hills ES community and welcome back existing families.
The Bradley Hills Education Foundation established in 2004 as a non-profit organization
dedicated to working with the school administration to ensure that our kids have what they need to learn and thrive during their years at Bradley Hills Elementary School.
Over time The Foundation paid for playground equipment; security entry swipes; the weather bug on top of the roof; the green roof; the science room and equipment; the mobile in the front entry and our TV studio.
During our last school year 2016-2017, the Foundation collected $60,000 in donations through our many events this year, an amazing accomplishment! With these funds, we completed the following activities during the 2016-2017 school year:

-
Partnered with the PTA to purchase $50,000 of Guided Reading Books for every grade level (Foundation provided $18K)
-
Snow removal & grass cutting tractor for the Facilities Management team ($13K)
-
Mindful Training ($8K) from Minds Inc. for the 2nd & 4th Grade Teachers
-
Lucy Hawkins Writing Training and Supplies ($17K)
-
New Exterior Security Cameras for the school property ($8K)
-
Additional Radios for the front office and additional batteries ($4K)
-
Purchased Chromebook Media Cart and Chairs ($1300)
-
Classroom Rugs for instructional purposes ($600)
Please look out for invitations to our Fall Social and Spring Auction. In October, we plan to have a Family night out at Five Guys near Home Depot on Westlake Terrace where teachers and staff will be service you on that night. It’s a Foundation & school tradition, and we hope you will join us!
Enjoy the remainder of the summer, and we look forward to seeing everyone back at school on
September 5th.
Sincerely,
Ronald English & Michelle Molloy
BHEF Co-President
